Travel fastpitch arm of Alpharetta Youth Softball Association. Independent (not affiliated with external travel orgs) playing out of North Park. 12U–16U, predominantly high-B competitive level.

“There are pros and cons here. Great for beginners in 10u, lots of teams for younger kids and a great option if you’re making the jump from rec. I’d avoid 12u and up if you are a serious athlete looking to play at a higher level. You will get frustrated with the lack of communication and accountability. Most of the players come from the rec program thru AYSA along with their bad habits and dad coaches who tend to lack overall knowledge of the game and competitive edge. Unfortunately there is a lot of internal conflict with the players & parents. Coaching tends to be disorganized and there are no clear expectations set for the older players. Very little opportunity for exposure if you’re looking to get recruited or play at a higher level. Serious players tend to leave to seek better opportunities with paid coaches, better facilities and opportunity for college exposure. Depending on the coach, can be a good stepping stone organization.”
