“Eclipse has a couple bright spots. Like many coaches who care and value their role as a leader to the kids they coach, who want to see them grow. However the organization is so beyond disorganized. The leadership team cares about dollars by over padding rosters with way too many players. They cater to families that have money and can donate or provide for the club, even when the player of that family doesn't deserve the roster spot. They do not care about loyalty. Again, they care about making money. The also keep many coaches from developing their players and sharing opportunities if it doesn't come with some type of gain for Eclipse. Ie: blocking certain tournaments. In the end, the teams aren't that good. They are ridding off the glory of the teams prior to the most recent merger, who were performing at a top level and have watered down the system to what it is now. They also don't rotate coaches, so if you aren't a love for the current ECNL coaches, you can forget ever playing for them. It doesnt matter how talented, your son will just not get the opportunity. They let the current ECNL coach for the boys put his son on multiple rosters when he truly doesn't deserve the spot. They also continue to let a subpar girl play and take away a boys spot when there are girls teams for her. In the end, this club is NOT worth it.”
