Our family has been around several club baseball orgs in the north Atlanta area, and this one was by far the most disorganized.  A tryout was conducted for rising 9U players, which was attended by what seemed to be 25-30 players.  For this large group, there was one evaluator despite there being multiple coaches hitting balls and throwing pitches.  How you can honestly assess players with a single evaluator observing multiple stations and up to 30 players doing different things is beyond me.  For this tryout, the organization charged $75, which is a ridiculous fee given how poorly it was run.  Initially, all of the players minus about 5 were put onto the field and told to field balls that the 5 other players would hit from coach pitches at the plate.  Needless to say, with that many 8-yr-olds, the entire thing was a circus, with kids falling over each other and chasing balls like packs of animals.  After that, players were divided and some sent to infield positions.  What followed was simply an embarrassment - two coaches are hitting fungo groundballs at players simultaneously, and randomly calling out which position is supposed to throw to 1B.  The kids were confused, the number of reps was too few at each position, and players didn't even get to rotate to all positions.  It was a circus.  In the outfield drills, the two coaches (one hitting and one catching throws in) seemed to be talking more to each other than focusing on their duties.  In addition, the flyballs were hit so inconsistently that one player got them all short, and another player had them all sail a mile over their head.  It was just a mess.  To conduct a tryout this way was so pathetically poor - the entire organization should truly be embarrassed.  And on top of that they charged $75 for it - a greedy money grab. Several players that we know, even players with personal connections to at least one staff member for Bombers, were denied spots on the 9U teams but never received any notification, even when a family had an offer from another team and requested an answer from Bombers, they didn't even bother.  Insulting and unprofessional.  I'd stay far away from this joke of a club.

Would not trust the people running the organization. Look at the turn over. There is a reason.
