“I would not recommend this organization for travel softball. We were made big promises of what was available and what the season would consist of none of which came to fruition. We only played 14 games the entire season following the end of high school. The other 16u team played double that. Coaching was ok, there were 3 of them and at least one was there on time. They were knowledgeable to the game but let some of the girls get away with screwing around a lot which led to wasted time. Practices were pretty loose and general in nature, but there was next to no live pitching/hitting (or general batting practice) that took place which showed during the games. I won't harp on them too much, at this age the girls hold a lot of responsibility to remain focused and on task. I think if parents were there watching unbeknownst to the girls, it would have been an eye opener for them. Our daughter made the best of it and we are moving on. ”
“Our daughter played with this organization for 2 full seasons 14u and 16u. There was massive turnover with both players and coaches. Her experience at 16u was nothing short of miserable. After the fall season, multiple families expressed concern regarding the coach and abusive behavior towards players; the board did nothing. During the summer season she routinely showed up late to both games and practices. The team only played 14 games this summer and was forced to cancel the last two tournaments, including Nationals. My daughter, who was a varsity athlete as a sophomore at a large public high school, got 15 AB’s on a team with 9 total players. This was a lost season. The organization does not provide what it sells to families. Run the other direction if you have another option.”
“We've been really happy with this org overall. Fields are always in great shape, tournaments are run well, and communication is good. Only thing I'll say, and this is true of pretty much any travel program, is that so much comes down to the coach. We lucked out with a great one who really knows the game and actually cares about the girls beyond just wins and losses. All in all, solid organization.”
“Not returning after two years. The Board allowed two 16U teams. One had 8 girls and one had 13. They refused to even them out after they got our deposits. We needed subs all year and had to forfeit and cancel our last two tournaments. Waste of a summer at a critical time in our daughter’s development. The Board did nothing but cash our checks. ”
“We started in the organization, and while not entirely happy, had planned on staying for another season as we know the grass is not always greener, and we only had one year of travel ball under our belt. My daughter is one that had a birthday where she can stay down with the rule change made last season. We intended on keeping her down after seeing minimal playing time due to her being athletically behind some of her teammates, which we understood. She was then offered a spot, an age level ABOVE what she played last year due to not enough kids trying out. Every single player who showed up for 9u/10u tryouts was offered a position. Multiple kids offered 12u spots who are 11u eligible, and being told it’s because they are better than 11u, but the writing on the wall appears to be that they don’t have kids to field a team. Major concerns about the program looking to cover fees by filling whatever they can. We are moving elsewhere to ensure our daughter is playing at the correct level for her abilities at this time. False confidence in telling them they are better than they are, does not help them develop at this age! ”
