Competition Group
For experienced wrestlers ready to compete at the IKWF level. Fee includes practice uniform, IKWF/USA Wrestling membership, and a portion of tournament entry fees. Competes regionally and at state-level IKWF events. Season runs November through February.

“Have a little (or not so little) interested in wrestling? Lions is the way to go! We’ve been with the club for 9 years. All 4 of my now teens (3 IHSA wrestlers, 1 still in club) started their wrestling journey with Lions- cannot recommend it enough! Amazing kid-first club that not only trains wrestlers but trains the whole athlete. Sportsmanship and community are key, which is incredible! The coaching staff is phenomenal as well- they go above and beyond for all of their athletes. Have a girl looking to wrestle but are more comfortable with a female coach? They got that too! In fact, the entire girls team made it to 2026 IKWF state! 2027 will be year 10 for us with Lions and our families last eligible year. Its a year away, and we’re already sad…. ”
