The coaches for this program are North Central College football players and a parent volunteer support coach. We are only a couple weeks in this spring session but our sons are enjoying it! They love playing on the NCC football field (even if it’s just a section of it). Good communication and well organized.

This is an excellent program with excellent coaches who are very hands on. We love the venue and the big stadium feel at North Central College. This is my sons first experience with flag football and he has learned so much and is having a lot of fun. 🤩

We had two kids in Next Level, K and 3rd. Positive experience for the 3rd grader who loved FF coming into it and was on a team with his friends. Negative experience for the Kindergartner who is new to the sport. I volunteered as a Assistant Coach for the Kindergarten team, and it was extremely disorganized. The K coach did not have a plan for practices, just kind of made drills up, and neither he nor the league really communicated with me or told me what to do other than "can you teach these kids zone defense?" Like wtf. I was just babysitting kids on the sidelines and it was pretty chaotic. Would not recommend. So for my kindergartner, he just didnt have a great time. Didn't really learn how to play the game. The 3rd grader's coaching experience seemed fine, so no issues there. The teams consist of 10 kids each and its 5v5. So each kid gets half the game, which is a bit less play time than some other leagues around town. Less costly than hi-five, and playing outside on a larger field was a plus. But, overall, it was a hit or miss experience from both a coaching and officiating POV (wildly inconsistent reffing).

Our kids really enjoyed the program. It was well organized and we had consistent communication from the director. The coaches were fun and engaging with their teams. They are all current NCC football players with a parent assistant. The teams learned basic formations and plays. Both of our boys asked to play again!
