Summer Safety Town

The flagship program — a week-long drop-off safety education experience for children entering Kindergarten or 1st grade. Monday–Friday, approximately 3.25 hours/day. Small groups of 4–5 children led by teen volunteers ride small bikes through a kid-sized miniature town with real streets, traffic signals, a fire safety house, and a railroad crossing. Safety topics taught through hands-on activities, stories, games, songs, and guest speakers from the Naperville Police and Fire Departments. Open to children from any city or state. Must be potty trained and able to pedal a small bike.
