“Plainfield athletic club has run this program into the ground. They have shown time and time again that softball is unimportant to them. They have someone managing the program that doesn’t have a child involved so she herself is more worried about promoting the baseball side of things. Not a single board member has showed interest in the softball side of things including making sure that the fields are ready to go when we have a home game let alone show up to one of the games. Such a horribly managed program.”
“Daughter played here for a few years and coaching was terrible. She felt like she didn’t develop at all and that there was lots of drama on the team including the coaches. Even after leaving coaches were still trying to start drama with my child. Also fields are not the best.”
“The coaches care about developing the skills of each player on the team. The team plays locally and travels to various locations within an hour away. The organization is ran by PAC, who does put more energy into their boys’ programs over the girls, unfortunately. ”
“The travel softball coaches are excellent- the ray of sunshine. However, teams are leaving because the PAC organization, including the board members, does nothing for travel softball. All of their energy, support, and scouting and retention efforts goes to baseball. It’s so disappointing. The girls deserve way more, and families know it. There are almost no travel softball teams left. ”
