Questions, answered
QDo I need a credit card to claim my organization?
No. Claiming your organization and the free Scout tier never ask for a card. You only add one if you start a paid trial.
QMy organization isn't on playGrades yet. How do I add it?
Create it in a couple of minutes. Add your organization plus a first program, and parents can start reviewing you right away. Since you created the listing, you're automatically the owner.
QHow do I claim an organization that's already listed?
Search for it on the claim page and confirm you're connected to it (a staff page, an email at the org's domain, and so on). We approve most claims within a few days, and then you'll see edit controls on your organization and every program.
QWhat happens after the 14-day free trial?
You're billed monthly ($10 for Rookie, $25 for All Star). Cancel anytime before the trial ends and you're never charged a cent.
QCan I switch tiers or cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Manage subscription. Changes take effect right away, and you keep your paid features through the end of the billing period.
QDo I have to pay to reply to a review?
No. Replying to reviews is free on every tier, including free Scout, because reputation is never paywalled. Paid tiers only change how your reply looks: Rookie and up show your logo and colors on the reply, while free replies post as plain text with your org name.
QWill reviews still show if I don't upgrade?
Yes, always. Reviews are written by parents and stay public on every tier. Paying never removes or hides a review; it adds your logo to your replies, your own photos, and your page-view traffic.
