Canes Illinois Baseball

Canes Illinois is the Illinois affiliate of Canes Baseball — a nationally recognized travel baseball brand with 2,000+ college commitments and 250+ MLB draftees. Operating out of two training facilities (Naperville and Mount Prospect), Canes Illinois offers tryout-based competitive travel teams and individual/small-group instruction in hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding. Part of the Canes Midwest National network.

“Great emphasis on arm care and overall health of players. We have never seen an organization as strict as Canes with pitching. They truly value a kid’s arm over a plastic ring. That said, they aim to still be competitive. They have great communication, including when uncontrollable circumstances come up that create a plot twist for the season. Impressed with how they handled it, keeping the kids the main focus. I also appreciated that they were clear with making cuts (like I mentioned they aim to still be competitive). I’ve seen organizations string players along until after tryout season just to cut them with no chance to try out for a new team. Or even worse create multiple teams just to fund the “top team”. ”
