βVolunteer/parent coaches. Play of turf fields only (Nike park, commissioners, knoch park). Practices 2x/week with games on Saturdays(times vary from AM to afternoon). Organized and parent communication per coach. It is Nice that the teams are generally the same kids so they can learn and grow together, +teambuilding each season. Good competitive for kids that are not necessarily club level athletes or just want a recreational team! β
βGreat karate program run by Shotokan Karate dojo. We joined largely because they do not have the same commitment requirements that the private martial arts dojos typically require. At the beginning my son was doing just one class per week. Now we do up to three per week when his other sports are out of season and one per week in season, so the flexibility really helps us and allows him to still advance through the belts. The kids also have opportunities to compete in karate tournaments if desired. β
βMy kid had enough fun that they wanted to do kid pitch the next year. And I didnt mind sitting in a lawnchair watching games in the late spring early summer. Overall not bad. But downside is that there were only a few teams, so we played the same kids over and over again. β
