It depends on who your coach is. Ours was not worried about helping the kids make improvements. Ajax has gotten big over the last few years and is struggling with the quality of their coaches. We will be moving to a new club because of this and poor communication from the club.

The coaching is phenomenal. Every time I think my daughter has gotten soooo much better her skills get even better. I am so impressed. The program does such a good job progressing all players and even tries to give equal playing time to all of the girls. Your money will be well spent because the level and skill increases and you’re not just paying to have your daughter sit on the bench during games. Coach Sal especially has been amazing however all of the coaches are stand out good.

What stands out the most is the coaching approach. There is a strong emphasis on building a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the game. The coaches take the time to ensure players not only learn skills, but also understand positioning, teamwork, and decision making on the field. The coaches always bring a good attitude with kids and parents. They strike a great balance between being supportive and holding players accountable, which helps foster both confidence and discipline. Overall, this team provides an excellent foundation for young athletes developing skills, character, and a genuine love for the game. Kids all love it and make new friends while also having schedule some outings outside of practice/games from time to time.

Your child’s experience will 100% depend on who they get as a coach. If you want your kid to like soccer, be treated with respect, have a chance at real development , look elsewhere. Insanely expensive.

I played for Ajax back in the Dragan days. He’d be really disappointed to see how far downhill Ajax has gone. Our kid toughed it out for a year and dreaded every moment. When multiple kids want to switch teams because of the current owner coach, maybe he is the issue and not the kids. Ineffective coaching style, puts kids down, bench warmer during games instead of coaching, teams go from successful to not. Look at teams he coached this spring to see what I mean. Look elsewhere. Maybe the community can buy the team and bring it back to what it was. I will add there are great families and kids there.
